Privacy  ·  In plain words

Your details,
handled lightly.

This is a portfolio site. It collects very little, and here is exactly what.

If you send an inquiry

When you use the form on the Contact page, I receive what you type into it:

The form is handled by Netlify Forms, part of Netlify, the company that hosts this site. Netlify receives your submission, stores it in my Netlify account, and sends a copy to my email, parth.kapoor.editor@gmail.com. I use your details to reply to you and to talk about the project, and for nothing else.

The form also contains a hidden field that only automated spam fills in. It isn’t used to identify you.

What happens when you visit

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages (Netlify) can see standard technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser and the pages you ask for, and may keep them in routine server logs.

Some content comes from other companies, so your browser contacts them directly and they can see your IP address and browser details:

Each of those companies handles that information under its own privacy policy, not mine.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn’t set cookies or store anything in your browser, and it doesn’t show advertising. It doesn’t currently use any analytics, so I don’t track how you move around it. The companies listed above may set their own cookies when their content loads.

Who sees your information

Netlify, which hosts the site and the form, and the email service I read my inbox with. I don’t sell your details or hand them to anyone else.

Deleting your details

I keep inquiries only as long as I need them to reply and to follow up on a project. To ask me to delete what you sent, or to tell you what I have, email parth.kapoor.editor@gmail.com from the address you used. I’ll delete your emails and your submission from Netlify and confirm when it’s done.

Changes

If this changes, I’ll update this page and the date below.
